I had my Wacom Graphire 3 tablet since last year, but never used it much. Last month, my hand and wrist started hurting from too much scrolling on a 20″ Cinema display. To remedy the situation, I tried using my left hand to hold the mouse instead and other odd things. Nothing worked best like using the Wacom tablet. It cured my pain and improved my workflow! I recommend a tablet to all designers! It’s definitely better than the mouse. It might take some time to get use to, but it’s well worth it. Now, only if I can afford an Intuos tablet!

Logitech has a new product out. It seems kind of cool. I’m sort of torn on this though. For one thing, it’s made for us designers, so that’s awesome! But, the thing is, can’t a programmable mouse do the same thing?

Since I’ve had my iPod for so long, it’s become cluttered with so many mp3s including Shaq Diesel, Vanilla Ice and even William Hung’s American Idol Audition! (SHUDDER) In attempts to clean up my iPod, I wiped it clean. Yup, I nuked that baby. I won’t have anymore of those untitled songs, anything under 128kbit, or even what everyone has… 50 of the same songs with different names!
So, I spent the rest of the day and following days looking through my archives and replacing the songs back into my iPod. It was a lot of hard work, but it felt good. I knew that my iPod was going to clean, that when I plug it into my car stereo, all the songs will be at my fingertips! YES!!
But… to.. my.. dismay…
SHIT! Fucking iTunes gave me Hell. Mp3s that existed on my hard drive archives were no good! iTunes flagged those mp3s with the exclamation mark from Hell!
I was pissed. I was angry. I threw my iPod. It didn’t break… but it fixed it!
(Just kidding)
Instead, I deleted those broken songs and reripped it from my CDs. I don’t know if all this was worth it, yet in the end, my iPod is slicker and cleaner than the Virgin Saint Mary herself! Rejoice!
